Thank you for showing an interest in the Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon. Rotary International is an international family of 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide in 32,000 clubs all dedicated to making a difference in their local community and around the world.
The Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon is 25 years old with 44 members, men and women. Click on the link to see one member's account of those 25 years.
Every year we have ongoing local projects such as our work with young people in Rotary Stars, Aim High, 2-minute challenge, Young Photographer and Youth Speaks. A major recent local project has been the Natural Play Area at Beacon Hill which was inaugurated - in a blizzard - by the President of Rotary International Great Britain and Ireland.
We also work with older citizens and we raise money in support of international charities such as Mercy Ships.

Engineering YES (Young Entrepreneurs Scheme), organised by the club in conjunction with Loughborough University and the University of Nottingham
